The third period trailer of Ramy Hassan’s (Ramy Youssef) self-titled TV series has been released. The trailer also gives the audience a first look at guest actress Bella Hadid, who made her acting debut as Lena.
Hadid’s character is revealed to be the new girlfriend of Ramy’s friend Steve (Steve Way), whom he met on the dating app.
The Hulu series will premiere on September 30. We can’t wait to see Hadid acting.
The series’ spin-off continues to record an Egyptian-American character’s journey of self-discovery in the middle of a millennial generation that questions the Muslim faith and the existence of God for 10 episodes.
Stuck in the middle of who they want to be and who they really are, the family questions their place in an ever-changing world. The Hassans will have to face what they live a life devoted to worldly fuss and, in some cases, bullshit.
The stars of the series also include Laith Nakli, Hiam Abbass, Amr Waked, May Calamawy, Dave Merheje and Mohammed Amer.
Ramy is written, directed, executive produced and created by star Ramy Youssef. Other executive producers include Adel Kamal, A24, Christopher Storer, Tyson Bidner, Amir Sulaiman, Jerrod Carmichael, co-creators Ari Katcher and Ryan Welch, and Kate Thulin.
